ウェスト・ロンドンを拠点とするシンガーソングライター、Hope Talaが2022年10月14日にリリースした「Stayed at the Party」を和訳しました。
リリース当時からずっと大好きな楽曲で、今年1月に公開した「2022年の好きなアルババム・EP・曲」の中でもその年の好きな楽曲の2位に選びました。（今年もすっかりそんな季節になりましたね）
和訳に自信があるわけではないので、少し迷いながら訳したところやHopeが意識して選んでいる言葉などにアスタリスクで注釈をつけ、各パートの終わりに補足を加えました。

*There's no medicine to put inside our cups to keep us here long enoughという文だけど思うけど、訳が後ろから後ろからになってしまうので、(1)There's no medicine to put inside our cupsと(2)There's no medicine to keep us here long enoughの2つの文に分けた意訳にしました。

*kindredはkindred spiritsの表現の略で、一般的には親族や血縁関係にあるものを指しますが、スラングとしてそのくらい気の合う関係を指すこともあるようです。
